What is High Heels?

High Heels is one of the brightest and most popular styles of today, including image, manner, behavior, even lifestyle. Gathering Jazz Funk, Ladies Style, Street Jazz, Burlesque, Aesthetic presented Erotism, without forgetting and underestimating the artistry in them, it became one of the most popular styles in Bulgaria and abroad. The well-known choreographer Yanis Marshall is the best example of this.

High Heels will allow you to:

• learn elements of different styles;
• develop coordination, sculpture and grace;
• learn a perfect gait and have a beautiful posture;
• improve your musicality;
• find and acquire your own and unique style;

High Heels gives you great freedom to develop your imagination. It unleashes and gives self-confidence. It is also danced by men who are not afraid to wear high heels! Arina Vylkova

Arina Vylkova is a professional dancer and choreographer. She was born in Moldova and has lived in Bulgaria for 14 years. She has danced since she was five years old. She began with Ballroom dancing and then continued with modern ballet.

After coming to Bulgaria, she started her dancing career in “Diva” Ballet, and later she continued in “Model”, Studio dance zone and “Dance team” at CSKA Basketball Team.

She takes part in many music videos, dance productions, musical projects and more.

Semir Alkadi

Semir Alkadi began his career in 1996 as a dancer and ballet soloist for “Diva” ballet. In 1999 he formed his own dance company, “Akadamus” – Academy for Dance, Music and Speech.

Two years later, Semir received an invitation from the popular Finnish dance company “Hot Cakes” and in 2001, he and his dancers, left for Finland, where Semir was appointed as a principal choreographer and soloist. With a lot of hard work and perseverance, Semir became the National Champion of Finland in Disco Dance and Show Dance for two consecutive years. And in 2006, together with “Hot Cakes” – The Show Dance Company, they won a silver medal from the European Hip Hop Championship.

Over the years, Semir Alkadi has worked with various celebrities from Bulgaria and the world, and “Akadamus” ballet has evolved and received a number of accolades. In 2015, Semir Alkadi participated in the founding of the “Akadamus Dance Theater” – a dance and theater troupe to which he is still an Art Director and Choreographer.
